Home and Away star Maddison Brown shares surprise wedding announcement
Home and Away star Maddison Brown has shared a surprise wedding announcement, confirming that she married her partner, New Zealand actor Simon Mead.
Sharing the happy news on Instagram at the weekend, Brown shared a couple of pictures from the big day along with the caption: “I do, forever.”

In one of the images, Brown is seen wearing a traditional white wedding dress with a long veil, as she puts her arm around her new husband, who is wearing a black suit and bow tie. In the second image, the couple share a kiss.
The pair, who were married in Queenstown, NZ, received well wishes and congratulations from Brown’s Home And Away co-stars.
“Beautiful you two,” commented Ryan Bown, who plays Sonny, while Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah, wrote: “Stunning.”
Following the initial wedding announcement, Brown shared another update with fans today, posting a wedding video to her Instagram account.

The video, which was captioned “Marry your best friend”, shows Brown and Mead getting ready for their wedding along with some moments from the big day.
Speaking about her then-fiancé in a September 2025 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Brown said he supported her decision to move home to Australia after a decade living in the US.
“My fiancé is an angel from heaven. I don’t know what I would do without him,” she said.
She added: “He’s really good at holding it down for me when things get turbulent. I was really homesick. I wanted to be around my nieces and nephews, and getting married next year – coming back felt like the natural next step.”
Brown, best known for playing Kirby Anders in the CW series Dynasty, joined the cast of Home and Away in 2025 as series regular Jo Langham.
