BREAKING NEWS!! EastEnders star James Bye lands new role in “chilling” theatre show
Former EastEnders star James Bye has landed a role in another terrifying theatre production following the success of 2:22 – A Ghost Story. The actor, known for playing Martin Fowler on the BBC One soap, has been announced as part of the cast of the UK and Ireland tour of Paranormal Activity.
Described as a “spine-chilling theatrical experience” based on the 2007 film directed by Oren Peli, Paranormal Activity is set to tour the UK and Ireland this summer, kicking off in Richmond on 5 September and touching Glasgow, York, Cardiff, Belfast and Dublin among other locations, and simultaneously running in London from 11 August.

James and Lou are the play’s protagonist couple who move from Chicago to London to escape their past, “but they soon discover that places aren’t haunted, people are,” the synopsis teases.

Paranormal Activity is directed by Felix Barrett and written by Chicago-based playwright Levi Holloway.

Bye previously played Mr Darcy in the stage adaptation of PD James’ Death Comes to Pemberley, in turn expanding the world created by novelist Jane Austen in Pride and Prejudice.
Following Martin Fowler’s shocking death during EastEnders‘ 40th anniversary, Bye has taken on the role of Darcy in the murder mystery that acts as Pride and Prejudice‘s unofficial sequel.
