Boston Blue Keeps Mentioning Jamie, So Can He Please Come To Visit?

Boston Blue keeps mentioning Jamie all the time.

Every time I hear his name, I hope it’s a subtle hint that he’ll be visiting during season 2 of Boston Blue.

Jamie has always been my favorite character in Blue Bloods, but there are many reasons for him to appear in the spin-off series, not just because of my personal preference.

Jamie’s baby looks adorable in the photo, but that’s not enough.

It seems a little strange that Danny never appeared in front of his newborn nephew in the movie Boston Blue.

The Reagan family has always been highly regarded, and that was evident when some of their members visited Boston, but something still seemed to be missing.

Everything unfolds in a one-way manner because the Reagan family’s dinner and life in New York are not shown on screen, so if Danny visits Jamie, Eddie, and the baby, it’s between episodes of his new series.

I understand that things have to be this way because filming in New York is so expensive. However, I’m not happy with a relationship that only exists in my imagination.

To maintain the atmosphere of “Blue Bloods” (a high-class horror film), Jamie needs to visit Danny in Boston, ideally with Eddy and the baby, so Danny can bond with his nephew properly.

Joe Hill had a special guest appearance at the Silver family dinner, and it would be even more interesting if Jamie and his family also appeared in season 2 of Boston Blue.

However, Jamie doesn’t necessarily have to show up for dinner.

While it would be interesting to see Jamie and his family unexpectedly show up at the dinner table, the possibility of Jamie actually showing up is much higher than that.

I really hope Jamie will become close with the Silver family, especially Jonah.

Jonah’s determination to find his father’s killer reminds me of how Jamie sought the truth after Joe’s death in season 1 of Blue Bloods, but Jonah is much more hot-tempered than Jamie.

Jamie would be a great mentor for him, even if only for one episode, and Sean will probably have mixed feelings about that.

Sean was annoyed that Danny had too much say in his career, so he might be relieved that Jamie didn’t interfere too much in his work — however, Jamie’s focus on her boyfriend rather than Sean, despite their relationship, could also upset him.

Furthermore, Sean could be put in an awkward position if Jonah dislikes or disapproves of Jamie’s advice.

That would be an interesting storyline!

Of course, the best approach would be to focus on each specific case.

I really enjoyed Henry’s visits because he was up to his old tricks again, interfering in Danny’s case even though he should have retired by now.

Of course, Jamie needs a more compelling reason, but a case spanning from New York to Boston, like Baez’s recent case, would be very fitting.

It’s always fun when Jamie and Danny have to work together. They don’t have much chemistry at all, and I’d love to see more of those scenes!

What about you? What do you think would be the best storyline revolving around Jamie? Would you like Jamie to visit, or would you prefer another member of the Reagan family to appear on screen in an episode?
