Priya Nandra-Hart and Ravi Gulati have been reunited in today’s EastEnders, but things might be a little more complicated than they first appeared. Last month, viewers saw Ravi and Priya end their relationship whilst he was in a mental health unit receiving treatment for complex PTSD.

Today, Priya was preparing for Vicki and Ross’s wedding when she posed for a group picture with her and Ravi’s kids, Avani and Nugget.

When Avani said she’d send it to Ravi, Priya looked visibly uncomfortable, saying: “Look, babe, it’s a really nice photo. I just don’t think he’s gonna want one of me.”

Avani told her she’d already sent it, leaving Priya rattled — though she failed to notice a letter addressed to her, from Ravi, sitting nearby.

Ravi was then seen receiving the photo as he continued to work with his therapist. The therapist told him that the time had come to discuss his discharge, but questioned him over the fact he hasn’t spoken to Priya since their relationship ended.

Later, Priya was drinking a glass of wine when Ravi walked in the door. He told her he had “done a lot work” to understand himself and wanted to apologise to her, while talking her through his experience in narrative therapy as the two reconnected. Ravi admitted he had “never really showed you the respect you deserve”, and they soon fell into bed together.

As they lay in bed afterwards, Priya was clearly pleased with the progress Ravi had made. But as she left for Vicki and Ross’s reception, Ravi clearly had uncertainty etched on his face.

Does he have reservations about reuniting with his ex? And what did he write in the letter that she has yet to read?

Elsewhere on the soap, the episode ended with a devastating twist over at the wedding, as Ross grew increasingly suspicious about Zack.

As the ceremony got under way, the groom finally put the pieces together and confronted Vicki, asking her if Zack was the man she had previously slept with. Though she didn’t verbally respond, her face told him everything he needed to know.

Although today’s episode finally gave viewers the reunion they had been hoping for, the atmosphere surrounding the pair remained layered with uncertainty, guilt and emotional tension.

Earlier in the day, Priya attempted to throw herself into the celebrations surrounding Vicki and Ross’s wedding reception. Determined to keep busy and avoid overthinking Ravi’s imminent discharge from the clinic, she focused on helping Avani get ready while also trying to maintain a cheerful front for Nugget.

However, her emotions became impossible to hide when Ravi unexpectedly sent a voice message to Avani asking how the family was coping without him at home. Though Avani smiled warmly while listening to the message, Priya noticeably froze the moment she heard Ravi’s voice again.

Trying to brush it off, she insisted she was fine, but both Avani and Nugget could sense that their mother was struggling with mixed feelings. Nugget later confided in Avani that he feared Ravi’s return home might only reopen old wounds rather than heal them.

Meanwhile, over at the clinic, Ravi continued opening up during a difficult therapy session. His therapist encouraged him to confront the guilt he had been carrying over the breakdown of his relationship with Priya and the emotional damage his behaviour had caused over the years.

For perhaps the first time in a long while, Ravi appeared genuinely vulnerable as he admitted that he had spent much of his life hiding behind anger and aggression because he never truly understood how to process trauma. Fighting back tears, he confessed that pushing Priya away had been one of the biggest mistakes he had ever made.

The therapist later questioned whether Ravi was emotionally ready to return home so soon, especially considering he still seemed terrified of facing Priya properly. Ravi insisted he wanted another chance — not just as a partner, but as a father too.

Back in Walford, Priya eventually discovered the unopened letter Ravi had sent earlier in the day. Initially hesitant to read it, she placed it aside while preparing for the wedding reception. However, curiosity soon got the better of her.

In an emotional moment alone in the kitchen, Priya finally opened the envelope and silently read Ravi’s handwritten apology. The letter revealed that Ravi had spent weeks reflecting on his actions and acknowledged the pain he had caused her throughout their relationship.

“I spent years making excuses for myself,” he wrote. “But none of that changes what I put you through. You deserved honesty, safety and respect from me, and I failed you.”

The heartfelt words clearly affected Priya deeply, and viewers saw tears forming in her eyes as she folded the letter back up.

Later that evening, Ravi arrived home unexpectedly while the family prepared to leave for the reception. The atmosphere immediately became tense as nobody quite knew how to react. Although Avani and Nugget embraced him warmly, Priya kept her distance at first.

Ravi quietly apologised once again, telling Priya that therapy had forced him to confront painful truths about himself. He explained how narrative therapy had helped him unpack years of unresolved trauma and destructive behaviour patterns.

As the conversation continued, the chemistry between them became undeniable. Priya admitted she had missed the version of Ravi that existed beneath all the anger, while Ravi confessed he never stopped loving her despite everything that happened between them.

The emotional vulnerability between the pair eventually led to an intimate reconciliation as they shared a passionate kiss before falling into bed together.

Yet despite the romantic reunion, the episode subtly hinted that things may not be as simple as they seem.

After Priya left for the wedding reception, Ravi remained sitting alone on the edge of the bed looking visibly conflicted. His expression suggested that although he desperately wants to rebuild his relationship, he may still be battling fears about whether he truly deserves forgiveness.

Some viewers also noticed Ravi glancing towards a second folded document hidden inside his bag before the scene cut away — potentially teasing another secret yet to be revealed.

Elsewhere in the episode, tensions at Vicki and Ross’s wedding finally exploded after Ross became increasingly suspicious over Zack’s behaviour throughout the day.

During the ceremony, Ross noticed several awkward exchanges between Zack and Vicki, leading him to privately question whether there was more to their history than he had originally believed.

Things reached breaking point at the reception when Ross confronted Zack directly in front of several stunned guests. Although Zack initially attempted to deny any wrongdoing, Vicki’s guilty expression appeared to confirm Ross’s worst fears before a single word was spoken.

The dramatic confrontation quickly spiralled out of control as Ross accused both of them of humiliating him. Guests watched in horror while Vicki desperately tried explaining herself, insisting the affair happened long before she and Ross became serious.

However, Ross refused to listen and stormed out of the venue, leaving Vicki devastated on what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life.

In the final moments of the episode, Zack was seen watching Ross leave from a distance, clearly torn between guilt and frustration. Meanwhile, Vicki broke down in tears as Sharon attempted to comfort her.
